Can you ski at night in Winterberg?

Skiing after the daylight has gone and the sun has set. It is a special experience and in Winterberg you can do it every Tuesday and Friday evening (snow conditions permitting). It is the largest contiguous evening ski area in Germany.

In Winterberg there is skiing every Tuesday and Friday evening during the winter sports season under artificial light. And if you've never skied in the evening before, we recommend you give it a try. It's a special experience. Keep in mind that you have to purchase a separate evening ski pass, your day pass is not valid.

What makes it extra nice is that most ski huts located on or near the slopes below are also open during evening skiing and with nice address ski

You need separate admission tickets for evening skiing, the day passes are not valid in the evening.

What are the details and rules for night skiing:

Times: 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Descents with artificial light:

  • 14 illuminated slopes
  • 8 kilometers of slopes in total
  • all artificial light slopes can be covered with snow by machine.

  • Bure-Herrloh (No. 6)
